I'm back! Wearables: Green Shirt & Brown Skirt

Hey Ya'll!
Yeah I'm finally back. I know it's been a while since I've posted...
Things have been crazy busy lately, but thankfully it's been mostly good crazy. :)

I don't want to bore you to death with all the details but I just want to mention a couple of the "big" things...chicks have hatched, we bought a new puppy (pictures to come :D), I'm turning 18 this month and I'm getting ready for my graduation that is in less than a month! Yaaaaayyyyyyyy! :D
Hahaha I'm quite excited if you can't tell. ;)
We are trying to get all the details worked out, but time is moving way too fast.
I just can't believe how time is flying....

But anyway, on to the outfit. :)

I actually wore this outfit a week ago Sunday and have been trying post it for about a week but I haven't had time. :/
I'll post what I wore last Sunday tomorrow, Lord willing.

I really like this outfit for a couple of reasons: the shirt is comfy, a bright springy green and it was a gift from my best
friend. ^_^ (The Lord has blessed me with such great friends!)
The skirt is also comfy and it's the perfect length for Spring and Summer.

The shirt is made out of a sheer material so I had to wear a cami underneath of it.
But all in all I really like the outfit. :)

Shirt: Cato, gift
Skirt: Reversable skirt, Goodwill thrift store
Cami: New from Goodwill

I'm hoping to start posting more regularly soon. Oh, and don't fret if you see some changes with my blog, I am going to be working on some changes to my background and header (which I can't wait to hear your opinion on ;)).

So what are some of your favorite spring outfits to wear?
I can't wait to hear from you!
Many blessings,
Kelly

The Best Foot Forward Challenge! Day 2

I am quite pleased to say that today went much better then yesterday. Maybe it was just because yesterday was Monday, I don't know... But I got a lot done today, for which I am very thankful. :)

Today's outfit is a lil more dressy than yesterday's. I was reading Miss Casey's blog one day and she was talking about trying out new outfits around the house to see if they are modest. You know, wear the outfit while you do your doing chores, bending over, sitting down, ect. Kinda like a test of sorts.
Anyway, I found some pretty good deals recently at Goodwill, so I'm taking Miss Casey's idea and trying it out this week. You'll probably be seeing most of what I found at Goodwill (just a fair warning ;)). Please feel free to share your opinion on the outfit, I would love to hear from you. :)

I highly encourage you to go read her post and then try this idea out, it is very useful.
It has saved me some time and perhaps saved me from embarrassing myself later. For example, by wearing this outfit today, I found out I will have to find my longer black cami if I do in fact end up wearing this outfit to Church come Sunday.

Shirt: Goodwill (Brand new for half off. Holla! :D),  Cami: Walmart? Skirt: Goodwill
Leggings: Gift from sister-in-law

Boots: Goodwill a couple of years ago.

I again used the twisted ring and black ring that I wore (and posted about) yesterday.
These earrings I received from my mom several years ago. I use to barely ever wear them because they were clip-ons and they would rub blisters on my ears. But a year or two ago, I used my handy-dandy crafting skills and made them into hook earrings! I love wearing them now, I feel very sophisticated when I do. ;)

My make-up for the day.

I like using CoverGirls Country Woods eyeshadow.
With me having blue eyes and brownish hair, I usually use a brown
eye shadow to give me that natural look that I try to go for.

Well, that's all for today.

What fabulous outfit did you wear today?

Blessings,
Kelly
